Alamo 6 and Pearl Solar Project Alamo 6 and Pearl Solar Project

Alamo 6 and Pearl

Pecos County, Texas

Alamo 6 and Pearl are neighboring solar projects that stand out for their innovative approach to renewable energy and environmental conservation. Notable conservation efforts at the sites include the use of approximately 800 sheep for vegetation management, ensuring a sustainable and eco-friendly way to maintain the land.

A unique feature at Alamo 6 is its 10,440 dual-action trackers. These trackers tilt both vertically and horizontally to follow the sun's arc across the sky each day, maximizing energy capture and efficiency.

Generation from each project is sold to CPS Energy under a long-term power purchase agreement.
