Mariah Del Norte wind farm operates in Parmer County, Texas, where the population is less than 10,000. Within this tight-knit community, the team has made great strides in developing relationships with neighbors and landowners, Parmer County Commissioners and the City of Friona.  

Our team also works with WEST Environmental Services to ensure the facility adheres to conservation standards and operates as a good steward of the environment.   

Generation from the project is sold to the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, and a small percentage is contracted by Oxy.
